
Nikki Stern is the author of eight books, including five in the award-winning Sam Tate Mystery Series, and coauthor with D. Landau of several of the musical murder mystery plays in the popular Café Noir collection. She’s also written a number of short stories and essays, some of which can be found here.
Nikki has led several professional lives. She worked as a professional composer and a public relations director for architecture firms in New York, Princeton, and Philadelphia. Following her husband’s death on 9/11/01, she became a family advocate for the governor of New Jersey and the executive director of Families of September 11 before turning full-time to writing. She now serves on the leadership council of Search for Common Ground, an international conflict transformation organization.
Future plans include a children’s series, a young adult book and more non-fiction.
